Our Mission

CharlotteMusician.com is run by local musicians for local musicians. Our goal is to find ways the local music community can work together to create a true music scene out of the scattered independent networks of performers. In particular, we want to:

• Find and create local opportunities for songwriters to perform, license, sell, and/or self-publish their music.
• Help local musicians share resources and talents to increase everyone's audiences/fan bases.
• Find ways to get our music heard by the local community.
• Interact with other local groups to improve the Charlotte music community.
• We want to find ways for indie artists to work together to help each other and, in turn, the Charlotte music scene.
